Neon signs advertising everything from restaurants to foot massages decorate Kowloon islands' streets, while it is the skyscrapers that provide the sparkle after dark on Hong Kong Island. It's also one of the busiest places on earth with a population of 7 million people sharing a very small land mass. Take a visit in your stride, if you get the chance.

Loved HK, very exciting city! Especially loved travelling by ferry between the islands. A helpful note to other veggie travellers - I loved "Kung Tak Lam Shanghai Vegetarian Cuisine" - all dishes with egg clearly marked, and food was delish and cheap. Lovely restaurant with a great view, really clean. Add: 7th Floor of 1 Peking Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon (11am-11pm - I grabbed the business card!). I ate in 3 different vegetarian places while in HK and this was my favourite by far. Booked and paid the deposit to stay here, however, to my disgrace when i went to check in they had overbooked and there was no single ensuite as per my booking! I had to sit there for one hour before they managed to get me into another hostel in a different block and for an extra $20. Prepare a pair of confertable shoes. It requies a lot of walking. There are fences everywhere, sometimes it take a long walk up and down to just cross a street. Greta city, was in Beijing first so was really interesting to see the contrast. Loved the huge new buildings and infrastructure along with the pretty gardens and huge bay full of million-dollar yachts and old style Chinese fishing boats. I stayed for three days on my way from Europe to Australia. Didnt want to do any partying or shopping. I found Hongkong easy to get around since all the information is avalilable in English. This hostel is small but clean. It\'s located in Chungking Mansions, in Tsim Sha Shui. It\'s great value for money. The staff are friendly and there is a tv in every room plus internet access.     I enjoyed my stay at The Salisbury in Hong Kong. My stay there ended with a wonderful international buffet in the restaurant on the fourth floor overlooking one of the most spectacular urban views in the world. Unforgettable!

    Rooms were small by normal standards but average in size for Hong Kong. Very clean and had all the comforts that you'd expect from a 3-4 star hotel. Wi-Fi in rooms was good. This was the best option we could find in the price range and would stay there again if in Hong Kong.

        The tram takes about 7 minutes to get from Hong Kong to the the Peak Tower which is a leisure and shopping complex located near the summit of Victoria Peak and has great views of Hong Kong and the surrounding areas.

    Also known as 'The Peak', this is the best place in the city to get a view of Hong Kong. To get to the peak you have to take a funicular to the top that takes about ten minutes. Once you're up there the views of the city are amazing. Try to do it twice if you can - once in the day and another at night.

        It is Irish owned and managed and has an modern Irish flair running through out the bar, with its contemporary Irish knots woven througout the bar. The bar is spacious and has stylized lighting throughout, there is also a DJ and live music.

    The owners are awesome and everyone is really friendly. They also know when to give out the free drinks!! Ladies night is starting up on 04 June with FREE vodkas for the ladies from 9pm - 12am...Yippee!!

    This is one of Hong Kong's most popular and unique bars. There’s no sign on the front but easy to find. A converted antique shop, Feather Boa is renowned for its cosy bohemian interiors and signature Martini’s as well as its range of exotic cocktails and live jazz music.
